Wish you were here?
Greetings from sunny Sydney.
I felt the need to take a break from the sun and so nipped in to the nearest internet cafe. Unfortunately, apart from yours truly, it is occupied entirely by Japanese tourists talking very very loudly - I may not be able to put up with the noise for long, so I will keep this short.
Arrived in Sydney on Tuesday morning after a day and a half in Singapore. Not much to report from Singapore - spent most of it asleep although I did venture out for a walk around the city at nighttime. Very humid conditions and so by the time I found myself at Raffles (where I had the obligatory Singapore Sling) my brads were quite moist. As were my jocks, I might add...
Anyway, enough of Singapore. I'm crashing on a couch in a friend's place at the moment but plan to look for a proper gaff next week. Haven't done too much boozing yet, apart from the other night when we ventured down to Bondi. I tell you boys, some of the birds down there were a bit special and the other lads tell me that it was only an average night from that point of view. All I've done for the past few days apart from that is wander around town, checking out the talent on display from behind my dark sunglasses.
The plan of action for tonight is a fancy-dress party, which I am greeting with somewhat muted enthusiasm. It's being hosted by a girl from Trinidad, and her two flat mates are from India, so the crowd may be a little bit different from what I'm used to. Hopefully Marcus won't make an appearance, as God knows what he'd make of it all...
That's all for now my friends.
